Welcome to our first online class, “Introduction to Scam Prevention.” We have conducted over 100 in-person classes at more than 50 senior communities, helping over 200 older adults become tech literate. We are excited to bring our knowledge online to guide even more older adults on the path to tech literacy.

In today’s digital world, it’s essential to stay vigilant and protect yourself from the myriad of scams lurking online.

In this class, you’ll receive a quick overview of various email scams, new AI-driven scams, and tech support scams. We’ll review real-life examples, practice identifying scams, and even look at some humorous attempts. By the end of this session, you’ll have the knowledge and confidence to navigate the internet safely and avoid falling victim to these schemes. Let’s get started!
